Assalamu Alaikum and welcome to Serenity Islamic School at ICMC.

Choosing a school is one of the most important decisions a family can make, and we are honored that you are considering becoming part of our community. At Serenity Islamic School, our mission is to nurture young hearts and minds through a high-quality early childhood education in a loving Islamic environment that builds a strong foundation in faith, character, and identity.

We believe that the early years are a time of wonder, curiosity, and tremendous growth. Our classrooms are thoughtfully designed to inspire exploration, creativity, and joyful learning. Through play-based experiences, hands-on discovery, and meaningful interactions with caring teachers, children develop the confidence, skills, and love of learning that will guide them throughout their lives.

Our school has grown organically from the needs of our community. What began as a small preschool program has expanded as families sought a place where their children could continue learning in a nurturing Islamic environment. This year we proudly launched our Kindergarten program, and in the 2026–2027 school year we will be welcoming our first 1st Grade class. This intentional growth allows us to build a strong educational pathway for our students while maintaining the close-knit, caring atmosphere that makes our school special.

Our Preschool program uses Creative Curriculum, a research-based, play-centered approach that supports children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through hands-on learning and exploration. As students move into our elementary grades, we begin introducing more structured academic instruction. In both Kindergarten and 1st Grade, we use Fundations, a highly respected literacy program that builds strong foundational reading, spelling, and handwriting skills.

To ensure our students are academically prepared and aligned with educational standards, our Kindergarten and 1st Grade instruction in reading, mathematics, science, and social studies follows the pacing guides used by the local public school district. This allows our students to meet grade-level expectations while continuing their education in a supportive environment that integrates Islamic values and character development.

At Serenity Islamic School at ICMC, our goal is to create a place where children feel safe, loved, inspired to learn, and proud of who they are.

We look forward to welcoming your family and growing together as a community.

Warm regards,

Diana Rahimzada
